As the days get longer and mornings get brighter, allergy season is back in full swing. For many of us, this time of year brings itchy, watery, and red eyes, along with puffiness around the eyelids and sensitivity to light. If you're experiencing these symptoms, you're definitely not alone—seasonal eye allergies are common during this time.

A Few Simple Things That Can Help

Here are a few things I recommend to help reduce irritation:

  • Try not to rub your eyes (I know, it's tempting!)

  • Use a cold compress to soothe any discomfort

  • Keep windows closed when pollen levels are high

  • Wash your hands and face after being outside

  • Use lubricating eye drops to keep your eyes feeling comfortable

And don’t forget—sunglasses can be a lifesaver in blocking out pollen while you're outdoors.

When to Get in Touch

If your symptoms persist or get worse, it's always a good idea to reach out. There are treatments that can really make a difference, and I’m always here to help guide you to the best solution.
