Dr Virginia Collis
Ginny is our audiologist here at MJEC. She’s the friendly face you’ll meet when it comes to anything hearing-related. From wax removal to hearing tests and hearing aids. With a caring, professional approach and years of experience, Ginny takes the time to understand each person’s hearing needs, offering clear advice and tailored solutions so they can hear, and live, at their best.

What I love about my job: I find great job satisfaction when we work together to address and improve any situation where hearing is problematic, whether it be improving hearing through fitting a solution or removing an ear wax blockage, it’s great to see that smile.

Fun fact: I started working life as a research scientist (veterinary research) before audiology, hence my farming background and love of horses (amongst other animals). I have a little dog called Izzie!

Favourite glasses brand: I like my Vanni’s, I use these to help me with my day to day work and ear wax removals!

Proudest achievement: Attaining my PhD with publication in international scientific journals and presenting my findings at international veterinary conferences.

Superpower: I relish a challenge and love trying to solve tricky and difficult problems. Having access to such an amazing array of technology and the time during my clinic to get stuck in is a very satisfying part of my job.
