Annalise Pogacic
Annalise is our student dispensing optician here at MJEC. She’s working towards her qualification while already bringing plenty of creativity and flair to the team. Whether it’s helping patients find frames that match their personality or thinking outside the box with styling, Annalise combines her training with a fresh, imaginative approach to eyewear.
About Me
-
What I love about my job: My colleagues 100%! I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such an incredible group of people. They’re supportive, inspiring, caring and just genuinely great people to be around. What more could you ask for?
 -
Started working at MJEC: 2023
 -
Fun fact: When I’m not working or doing assignments, you’ll usually find me with either a book or crochet hook in my hand! I love crocheting gifts for my friends and family- it’s so rewarding to see their reaction when they open something handmade! I’m also a massive reader and have read 42 books so far this year! My favourite genre is thrillers and I’m always open to recommendations!
 -
Favourite glasses brand: My favourite glasses brand is Nifties. They’re made in Denmark and are designed especially for people with finer facial features, which means you can find stylish, high-quality frames without being limited to the kids’ section!
 -
Proudest achievement: My proudest achievement to date is getting my degree in Sociology and Criminology during the pandemic. Studying through such an uncertain and difficult time pushed me to stay resilient and focused, and made graduating feel even more rewarding.
 -
Superpower: I would say my creativity. My role at MJEC involves a significant amount of problem-solving, and being creative helps me find effective ways to support both my patients and my colleagues. It’s an aspect of my work that I really enjoy.
